The Origin

From the streets of France to the fields of America

Teddy Wagnac grew up in France and witnessed firsthand the electricity of the 1998 FIFA World Cup — the summer France lifted the trophy on home soil. What struck him most wasn't the final whistle. It was what happened the week after: every kid in every neighborhood picked up a ball and started playing. Parents, coaches, and clubs all moved in the same direction.

Years later, living in the US and immersed in the youth soccer world, Teddy saw the opposite. Families were overwhelmed by choices, coaching quality was impossible to evaluate from the outside, and academies were struggling to get in front of the right parents.

SoccerPath was his answer — a platform that unites US youth soccer, so that parents and clubs are always moving in the same direction.

After France won the World Cup in '98, every kid in the country grabbed a ball and started playing. Parents, coaches, clubs — everyone was headed the same way. I wanted to recreate that alignment here, for American families and the sport they're falling in love with.
